Email verification and one-login-per-person
Why you confirm your email at sign-up, what happens when you log in from a new place, and how sign-ins are recorded.
Confirm your email
After signing up we email you a confirmation link. Click it to open the app - your free trial starts at that moment. The link works for 48 hours and only once.
- Nothing arrived? Check spam, then press Send the link again on the page you see after sign-up (once a minute).
- Link expired? Log in and ask for a new one.
One login, one place
An account is for one person. You can be signed in on several devices on the same network (for example your laptop and phone on your home Wi-Fi). When the account is used from a different internet connection, the sessions on the other connection end and have to log in again.
In practice:
- Switching your phone from Wi-Fi to mobile data just moves your session with you.
- Sharing a login with someone elsewhere does not work - you keep logging each other out.
Sign-in records
For your security each sign-up, login, failed login and email confirmation is recorded with its IP address and browser. Support uses this to help you if your account is misused. Change your password under Account → Security; that also ends your other sessions.
