Alerts: sounds, browser notifications, Telegram and cooldowns
Every alert channel, which alert kinds use which sound, how acknowledgement works, per-user Telegram, cooldowns and what clicking an alert row shows.
Alert kinds
| Kind | Raised by | Sound |
|---|---|---|
| signal long / signal short | A pattern confirmed above the threshold | long or short signal tone |
| crash watch | Crash risk reached the watch threshold; macro event in 30 minutes | none |
| crash warning | Crash risk reached the warning threshold; position at risk (50% to liquidation); stop reached; consensus against your position; crash warning while you hold a long | warning (triple beep) |
| crash critical | Crash risk reached the critical threshold or a live cascade; liquidation danger (75%) | siren, repeating until acknowledged |
| trade | Executor opened, filled or closed a trade; take-profit reached or suggested on a manual position | trade fill tone |
| system | Trade failed, budget too small, auto-close, risk eased | none |
Every alert is stored, so after a restart the drawer shows what you missed.
Channels
- In-app popup. One modal at a time; others queue (
n more queued). Buttons: Later hides it without acknowledging, Open pair, Open positions page when a manual position is involved, Mark as taken on signals, Acknowledge. Crash critical is a full-screen red takeover with Close longs on …, Close all and Acknowledge. - Widget border flashing until clicked.
- Sounds, synthesised in the browser. Browsers block audio until you interact with the page once; the tool unlocks audio on the first click of the top-bar toggles or the bell.
- Browser notifications when the tab is in the background: click Enable notifications in the top bar and allow them. Switch: Settings > Alerts > Browser notifications.
- Desktop notifications from the backend process (OS toast and beep), which work with the browser closed. Local installs only; Settings > Alerts > Desktop notifications and Desktop notification sound, with test desktop notification.
- Telegram, described below.
Sound settings
Settings > Alerts: Sounds enabled and Volume apply to your account. Per-kind mute (this browser) mutes Long signal, Short signal, Crash warning, Crash critical siren or Trade fill on this device only, with a play button to preview each. The speaker icon in the top bar is a quick local mute.
The siren stops when every critical alert has been acknowledged, from the takeover, from the drawer (Ack) or with Ack all.
The alert drawer
The bell in the top bar shows the unacknowledged count and opens the drawer. Each row has a coloured edge by kind, the title, time and body, and an Ack button while unacknowledged. Click the row (or press Enter on it) to open the full alert as a popup: reasons, the confirm / full confirmation / void levels of a crash warning, similar past crashes, the signal's plan, or the position block. Ack all acknowledges everything and stops the siren.
Telegram per user
Alerts of level warning, critical and signal can be pushed to a Telegram chat:
- In Telegram, create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token.
- Start a chat with your bot (or add it to a group) and find the chat id, for example with @userinfobot or from the
getUpdatesAPI. - Enter telegram bot token and telegram chat id under Settings > Alerts and click Save settings.
In the hosted service the token and chat id are yours alone; alerts for a pair are sent to every user who watches that pair and has a token configured. Market-wide crash alerts go to everyone with a token. Messages are plain text: [WARNING] Crash WARNING: SOLUSDT followed by the body. Telegram requires the telegram feature of your plan.
Cooldowns and deduplication
- signal cooldown (min) (default 30): no second signal on the same pair, timeframe and pattern type within this time.
- Crash alerts repeat at the same level only on a material change (risk up 10 points, price at the confirm level, confirm level moved more than 1%, cascade); critical repeats every 10 minutes; "eased" notices at most every 15 minutes.
- Position alerts fire once per position per condition and re-arm when the condition clears or when you edit the position.
Tip: if alerts are too frequent on a volatile pair, raise its per-pair threshold rather than muting the sound; a muted signal still flashes and queues popups.
