How we make money, and what it costs you
Subscriptions, exchange partner programmes (the exchange pays us from its own fee; you pay the same or less), the one exception on Hyperliquid, and why we never touch your funds.
Your money never comes here
PatternXRadar is non-custodial software. Your coins sit on your exchange. The platform sends orders with an API key that you create with trade-only permission: it cannot deposit, withdraw or transfer. Keys are stored encrypted under your password. The only payment that ever reaches us is the subscription, paid in Bitcoin to our own BTCPay Server. There is no deposit address, no balance and no wallet on this platform, and nobody from us will ever ask you to send funds anywhere.
Two sources of income
1. Subscriptions. The plans on the pricing page.
2. Exchange partner programmes. Exchanges pay partners for bringing them traders. When you open an exchange account through our link, or trade through the platform on an exchange where we hold a partner id, the exchange pays us a share of the fee it charges you anyway. You pay the exchange the same as you would directly; with the link you usually get a fee discount on top. Nothing is added to your orders, your statements show the exchange's normal fees, and the share comes out of the exchange's side. The platform works identically whether you used our link or not.
The one exception: the Hyperliquid builder fee
Hyperliquid is an on-chain exchange that lets the app which built an order attach a small builder fee, charged by the exchange on that order and paid to the builder. If we have configured one, this is how it works for you:
- It is off by default on every account.
- The app shows you the builder address and the exact rate (for example 0.01 % of the order value) before you approve it. Approval is a signature by your API wallet; nothing else is signed.
- After approval it appears on your Hyperliquid fills like any fee.
- You can revoke it in the app or on hyperliquid.xyz at any time; from then on nothing is charged.
- Orders are never blocked because you declined it.
Why we tell you this
A trading tool that earns from exchanges has an incentive to make you trade more. We would rather state it than hide it: every call still shows its stop, its edge after costs and its track record, and the demo account exists so you can judge the signals before you pay anyone anything.
